About Us
Comida Aid Foundation, a non-profit effort, is dedicated to combatting malnutrition and hunger by implementing targeted initiatives. These programs aim to enhance the nutrition of pregnant women and infants, students in public schools, and youths in underserved areas. The organization also prioritizes reducing food wastage and offers entrepreneurship training, ultimately fostering self-reliance. Operating through a food banking network, they address both immediate and long-term needs of vulnerable communities in Kaduna State and Nigeria.

Our Solution
Comida Aid Foundation, a non-profit effort, is dedicated to combatting malnutrition and hunger by implementing targeted initiatives. The organization also prioritizes reducing food wastage and offers entrepreneurship training, ultimately fostering self-reliance. Our Objectives:
- To address the problem of Malnutrition in families, improve the nutrition intake of pregnant women and lactating mothers.
- To improve food security at the household and aggregate levels to guarantee that families have access to safe food that is adequate (both in quantity and quality) to meet the nutritional requirements for a healthy and active life.
- Promoting habits and activities that will reduce the level of malnutrition and improve the nutritional status of our beneficiaries.
- Promoting good, indigenous food cultures and dietary habits among women and children in rural communities for healthy living and development.
- To enhance caregiving capacity within households with respect to child feeding and child care practices, as well as addressing the care and well-being of mothers.
- To reduce the amount of food waste by promoting sustainable conservation and redistribution of excess food to the most vulnerable in society.
- To empower vulnerable communities with skilled jobs to put food on their tables.
